Art Exhibits
6/15 Green has partnered with two longtime artists to display garden-related art along 15th street during the Spring Festival. Both are members of the Park Slope Windsor Terrace Artists group. Carol Adams is a potter who has been creating planters, and will set up shop next to the plant sale. Linda Schneider is a talented painter specializing in our landscape. She has many bright paintings of the Vermont country-side, but for this garden fence exhibition she'll feature luscious Brooklyn scenes. The Open Space Gallery will also be on display on the other side of the garden, near the barbeque and picnic table, and will feature a display of mixed media assemblage by another skilled local artist, Joseph Militello. This year, The Open Space Gallery will include a new feature, Paw Tails- pugshots of pets, because pets are family too!
